Millennials and Their Lack of Suffering

Quarantine has affected everyone, but I think it has slapped Millennials in the face. The world has never experienced anything like this, but it’s a little different for the millennial generation. For the first time, millennials are hearing the word no.

Every millennial remembers 9/11 or the 2008 stock market crash. It was one of those events that rocked the nation, but it wasn’t WWII. We never had to worry about starving or being bombed. Granted, 9/11 made it more challenging to fly, but we could still do it. We haven’t had to forgo anything significant. Our life is cushy, and I will be the first to admit that I am privileged AF.

Millennials have had significantly more opportunities and privileges than their grandparents.
