Christians Need to be More Unapologetic
As I write more of these articles, the more I realize, I need to be more unapologetic about my beliefs. I can’t pull my punches, because there are always going to be haters. Even if I take the least offensive stance, someone is going to disagree with me, so why not just say what I think?
I think all Christians need to be more unapologetic.
Christians struggle with asking forgiveness for everything. We apologize for what we believe in, and we shrink back when our religion is questioned. There are always people who will criticize Christians, joke about the faith, or dislike Jesus’ followers. It won’t matter what we say to these people; they won’t change their behavior or beliefs. So why try? Why water down your ideas for them?
Chick-fil-a
In November 2019, Chick-fil-a announced it would stop donating to the Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). People criticized these donations in the past. Going forward, Chick-fil-a will work with any organization, no matter their religious status.
Both are Christian organizations with Christian values. Critics labeled these organizations as anti-LGBTQ for their stance on marriage. The FCA’s website says the following:
